Dr. Kym Boyman, MD – South Burlington, VT

Dr. Boyman provides full spectrum gynecologic care for patients of all ages. Her areas of special interest and expertise include: minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including laparoscopic and da Vinci robotic-assisted hysterectomies and other advanced surgeries; the medical and surgical management of complex gynecological problems, including menstrual and menopause problems, fibroids, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, abnormal Pap smears, vulvovaginal problems, prolapse, and other Gyn concerns; gender affirming hormones and hysterectomies; and in-office ultrasound, SHG, colposcopy, LEEP, endometrial and other biopsies, IUD insertion, and hysteroscopy. She values the diversity of her patients and the varied scope of her practice, and wouldn’t want to do anything else.

Dr. Boyman received her undergraduate degree from Stanford University and attended medical school at the University of Vermont (UVM) College of Medicine. She completed her residency training in Ob/Gyn at UVM Medical Center (formerly Fletcher Allen Health Care) in 2003. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the UVM College of Medicine, where she has received numerous awards for teaching and for humanism in medicine. Dr. Boyman founded and is President of Vermont Gynecology.

Dr. Boyman is committed to doing her part for our community. She has served as UVMMC's Medical Staff President and on several UVMMC committees; and is a former Board member of Healthfirst (Vermont’s independent practice association). In 2015, she was honored to receive the Vermont Pride Community Award for Community Service. VTGyn has a strong philanthropic ethic and supports many nonprofits.

Dr. Boyman is Board Certified in Ob/Gyn; has additional training in minimally invasive surgical techniques; and is a member of: American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL), American Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (ASCCP), AIUM, WPATH, and others.
