Meet his sister Ginny Chesters

Ashley Chesters became the first golfer to win the European Amateur twice, in 2014 and 2015.

These wins qualified him for the 2014 and 2015 Open Championships. In 2014, he missed the cut by one stroke after shooting 70 and 77. Chesters made the cut in 2015 with 71 and 72, then ended tied for 12th with 67 and 69.

Today he competes on the PGA tour.

Ginny Chesters is his only sibling currently. She is a staunch supporter of his work.

Chesters competed in the Bonallack Trophy, the St Andrews Trophy, and the Eisenhower Trophy in 2014. In 2015, he competed in the Walker Cup at Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club, accumulating 312 points as part of a Great Britain and Ireland team that won 1612-912.

Chesters became pro following the 2015 Walker Cup. He competed on the Challenge Tour in 2016. He placed 16th in the 2016 European Tour Qualifying School to earn a spot on the 2017 European Tour.

His best finish since joining the European Tour in 2017 has been fourth place at the 2018 Andalucia Valderrama Masters.
