What does Keke mean?

Congrats to the new mum of the year, Keke Palmer, who recently welcomed her baby boy Darius Jackson Leodis Andrellton Jackson who was born on 28 February 2023. Over the years Keke had battled with severe depression and anxiety. She also shared that she had an abortion at the age of 24 and has been dealing with polycystic ovary syndrome her entire life.

Polycystic ovary syndrome is the most common endocrine disorder in women of reproductive age. The syndrome is named after the characteristic cysts which may form on the ovaries, though it is important to note that this is a symptom and not the underlying cause of the disorder.

What does Keke mean?

Keke could mean a lot of things but according to Keke Palmer, the nickname “Keke” is not a shortening of “Keyana”but her name came about because her older sister had an imaginary friend named Keke before she was born and thought it would be a great stage name.
